Frequently asked questions.
Everything you need to know before you start: timelines, rights, confidentiality, pricing and distribution. Still unsure? Just ask us.
Timeline & Process
How long does the full publishing process take?
Most books are published within 8–16 weeks depending on length and complexity. A standard 60,000-word manuscript with a custom cover usually takes 10 to 12 weeks from signed contract to live on Amazon. You get the milestone dates upfront so nothing catches you out.
Can I make changes after the first draft?
Yes. Every package includes structured revision rounds built into the timeline. We deliver drafts fortnightly and incorporate your feedback at each stage. Major structural changes after final approval may incur a fee, but we're transparent about that threshold upfront.
Do you work with authors who only have an idea?
Absolutely. Many of our clients start with nothing more than a concept or a few notes. Our writers work from interviews and outlines to build your manuscript from the ground up. You don't need to have written a word.
What do the steps look like from start to finish?

Still have questions?
Our team is on hand to talk through your specific manuscript, timeline and budget.
Rights & Confidentiality
Do I keep 100% of my rights and royalties?
Yes. Always. You are the author and publisher of record. We charge a flat service fee; we take zero percentage of royalties, zero ownership of your intellectual property, and zero ongoing claim on future editions or derivative works. What you create is entirely yours.
Is ebook writing kept confidential?
Completely. Every project is covered by a mutual NDA signed before work begins. Our team never discloses client names, book titles or project details. Your name goes on the cover and in the copyright. Ours appears nowhere.
Whose name goes on the finished book?
Yours, and only yours. You are credited as the author on the cover, the copyright page, and in all store metadata. This is invisible by design. No co-author credit and no acknowledgement required.
Pricing & Payment
How much does it cost to publish a book?
Every project is quoted individually because scope varies so much. A short children's book and a 90,000-word memoir are very different jobs. After a free consultation we send a fixed-price proposal with every deliverable itemised, so you know the full cost before committing a penny.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Most clients split payment into a 50% deposit at contract signing and 50% on delivery. For larger projects we offer milestone-based payment schedules tied to deliverables. Get in touch and we'll structure a plan that works for your budget.
Is the proposal really free?
Yes. No payment, no credit card, and no obligation to proceed. If you decide the timing isn't right, we won't chase you with follow-up sales calls.
Genres, Design & Distribution
What genres do you specialize in?
We publish across all major genres: memoir and biography, business and leadership, self-help and wellness, fiction (literary, thriller, romance, sci-fi), children's books, poetry and specialty titles. Our published books cover every category, so have a look through the portfolio.
How does the cover design process work?
We start with a design brief and genre research, then present two to three distinct cover concepts. You choose a direction, we refine through two revision rounds, and deliver print-ready files in all required formats (KDP, IngramSpark, eBook). You approve before we upload anything.
Do you provide illustrations for children's books?
Yes. We offer original children's book illustration, custom scene artwork and full storybook art, all age-appropriate, story-led and never templated. Illustration runs alongside writing and formatting so your book stays on schedule.
Will my book be available on Amazon and other retailers?
Yes. We distribute to Amazon KDP (print and Kindle), IngramSpark (which feeds Barnes & Noble, Walmart, Book Depository, and thousands of independent bookstores), and Apple Books. Your book is available globally in both print-on-demand paperback and eBook formats.
Still have a question?
Ask us anything. We respond within one working day, and a fixed-price proposal follows within 48 hours.
